Saying that we do not want to be miserable is not enough.

Unless we come to some conclusions about what makes us suffer, we are only playing a game with ourselves.

Since this is so, looking honestly and accepting what we see is the way to deal with self-image.

Looking for knowledge and wisdom, seeking out a way of being that is mentally healthy and balanced, we force the self-image to show itself.

Then it is up to us to respond.
