With the publication of Quotes Companion we are offering a 2 ½ day retreat at Ratna Ling Retreat Center, July 13-16. You are welcome to come as our guest.
We are gathering together a vibrant group of individuals, willing to engage, share, and connect with the possibility that Companion can make a positive difference in the world.
The intention of the retreat is to work together toward that end. Through brainstorming, open conversations and challenging inquiry we aim to create a universal guide for Companion. A guide that will invite and evoke ways to encourage understanding through the delight and wisdom of the quotations from Tarthang Tulku. It will be suitable for classrooms, libraries, hospitals, hospices, veterans homes, family conversations, podcasts as well as yet to be unimagined opportunities.
Companion contains 16 quotes that speak to all cultures. Themes include willingness, kindness, bias, perseverance, creating beauty, time, goodness, habits, important goals, open-heartedness.
The word companion comes from panis, the Latin word for bread. Originally, the word was used to describe someone with whom you shared a meal.
Space is limited. We ask that all participants have been vaccinated before arriving at the retreat to keep in line with COVID safety.
If you are interested in attending, please email azukihat@gmail.com. We will send you a copy of Companion and schedule a virtual interview appointment so we can determine if this is the right moment to work together.
